Duration

Your tour is made of 60 minutes across Lake Wanaka and on the Clutha River. Please allow 90 minutes for the full experience

Each of our Jet Boats is design to carry a maximum of 10 passengers; this allows us to maximise thrills whilst keeping our tours personal

FAQ's

Dress for the weather on the day, taking into account a significant wind chill factor. In winter the more wind protection the better and gloves are great, while in summer a wind proof layer never goes amiss, especially on the trips before lunch. Remember to mind your hat though, as it may blow away.

There is a possibility that you may get slightly wet during the “Hamilton spins”, ask our driver where to sit based on your preference on how wet you want to get!

Yes, you are welcome to bring a small camera or phone. You need a secure place to put this while we are at speed as your hands will be busy holding on. Your jacket pocket is best, as this will be easy to access when we stop at the photo opportunities, while staying protected from any stray splashes. Please note that we travel at high speeds, and any valuables you bring along are at risk of getting damaged.

Our minimum age is 4 years, our passengers must be able to hold onto the handrail from a seated position.

We provide life jackets, A secure place for belongings you don't want to bring on the boat. And the experience of a lifetime!

Yes you can! Just dress as though you were going skiing. Bring gloves and woolly hats, and our expert drivers will do our best to keep you dry.

Unfortunately you cannot ride the Jet boat when pregnant.

The approximate time you spend on the boat is 60 minutes, However we like you to arrive at the departure point on the lakefront 15 minutes before departure to allow time to get fitted for life jackets.

No weather is bad weather and any day on the water is a good day, but if it is pouring with rain, we will do our best to rearrange your trip to miss the rain. We will get in touch with you if the weather is looking extra wet so please just make sure when you book you give us your correct contact information.
