Yes life jackets and helmets are included in all rentals; these are also required by council and government law.

Kids can go on the rental equipment however some with require adult supervision.
Unfortunately we don’t, however you are welcome to bring your own if you want.
There are no restrictions with age however children under the age 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Also please bare in mind jet boating is an adventure activity where we get very close to obstacles, reach speeds of 85kph and perform Hamilton Spins. Most children love this thrill but some are apprehensive.
Lake Wanaka consists of a self-sustaining population of Brown Trout, Rainbow Trout and Quinnat Salmon.
All beach equipment has restricted areas, the kayaks/paddle boards have a limit of Roy’s Bay (we need to see you) or if it is your first time within 200m of shore. The aqua toys have a limit of the lakes buoys. With bike hire the limit is just how far you will get in your hired time.
During summer (October to April) boat trips are run to schedule. Jet boats – 10am, 12noon, 2.30pm and 4.30 pm. Lake cruises – Mou Waho (3-4hr) 10am, Stevenson’s Island (2hr) 3.00pm and evening cruise (1hr) 5.30 pm. During winter months lake cruises and fishing trips are run on demand with jet boats leaving at 11.30am and 2.30 pm.
During our Hamilton Spins there is some spray on occasions but no you won’t get wet. Cameras are at your own risk due to this occasional spray. There are safe places to use cameras and your driver will let you know when this is. It is a good idea to keep phones and camera secure or in your pocket while travelling at speed and only use when the boat is stopped.
